Chapter 3

Daddy’s Bad Girl

During the last few minutes of brunch I excused myself to pretend to take a call from Boris. It was just my friend Jeannie but when I came back to our table I suddenly acted like I was in a rush to leave. From all the texts Daddy had been receiving, it was obvious he was supposed to meet one of his whores, but my enthusiasm to leave prompted him to change his plans.

After a stern lecture all the way home about how Boris was just going to pressure me to have sex before I was ready and me shocking him by telling him I was 19 and ready anyway, he dropped me off at my apartment in the Village. He had a lot of nerve considering he was banging two women, when I was way cuter than both of them. I stormed upstairs crying and poured myself a glass of wine and then another one after that. After 30 minutes, I heard a knock on my door.

“Zoe, it’s me.” Daddy sounded remorseful and upset.

I opened the door, still crying, not about Boris or him getting after me, but I was hurt, certain that he’d gone back to Marina’s. I let him in but my lip was quivering too much to say anything.

“Baby, don’t be mad at me. I’m just trying to look out for you.” He pulled me into his arms and I started sobbing into his chest. All the pent up sexual frustration and jealousy of the past week was pouring out and I was finding it difficult to bottle it back up again.

“Daddy! I’m not a little girl anymore.” I pressed my chest against, letting my breasts spill out slightly, as I cried softly against him.

“I know you’re not, you’re a beautiful woman and I’m sure when you’re older…”

“Daddy! I’m 19! I have needs. I don’t even know what I’m waiting for anymore. If it’s not Boris, it will just be someone else. Mom has her personal trainer, you have two women and I don’t want to talk about this anymore. But don’t worry about me Daddy, I’ll get on birth control, first.” I walked over to my bottle of wine and poured myself another glass.

He walked up behind me, wrapped his arm around my waist and made me put down the glass. “I’m sorry sweetheart. I’m being a jealous ass. I’ve just always thought of you as mine and now that you’re all grown up— I still think of you that way.” He kissed my forehead and pulled me in tighter. It was a different kind of touch than his usual hugs. It was more seductive, more passionate, but I wasn’t sure how to react yet. I covered his hands with mind and sighed.

“Oh Daddy, I love you so much. Sometimes I wish you weren’t my stepfather.” I leaned back into him and he didn’t back away.

“Do you mean that, Zoe?” He whispered, as his hands moved a bit higher, one getting close to encircling my breast.
